Austin is an active performer in the Baltimore and Southern Pennsylvania regions. She recently graduated from the Sunderman Conservatory at Gettysburg College with a Bachelor's of Music in Voice/Opera. Austin's primary interests lie in new music and chamber music, and she performs both frequently. She is also passionate about promoting music by female composers, and has performed two recitals of this repertoire.

Recent performances as a soloist include appearances with the Gettysburg College Symphony Orchestra, Gettysburg Choirs, Sunderman Opera Workshop, and others. She has also appeared frequently as a soloist with Lux Choir, where she also sings in the choir. Austin is also a section leader for Christ Lutheran Church in Gettysburg, PA.

She has premiered three new solo works, "For Every Animal" by Robby Napoli, "Untitled Piece" by Elliot Pajer and "I shall not care" by Diego Rocha.

She has studied with Dr. Susan Hochmiller, Mr. Jeffery Fahnestock, and Mme Sylvie Valayre, and coached with Dr. Scott Crowne and Mme Emmanuelle Sanger.
